It's nearing the last days of May, so I thought I should make one last thing before it ends.
Basically, I thought about Mary described in Revelations, and how interesting it is that she is standing on a crescent moon. Knowing how some people venerate or outright worship the moon, they might see that as some Judeo-Chrisitian bigotry, meant to oppress nature under their thumb; however, I think it is more accurate to say that the moon is being purified or raised up by holding the feet of a most holy woman who birthed our Savior. In short, it would be the moon's honor to be her throne and pedestal, not its punishment. And considering people use the moon to explain Mary's purpose as the Mother of God, it would be silly to downgrade God's own creation; the moon (Mary) is beautiful and shiny, but only because it reflects the light and truth of the Sun (Jesus).
I originally wanted to make a long fancy poem out of this idea, but it came out as a haiku instead. Funny how that works.
